Rick Peterson Jr. grew up with the word of God in his life. With grandmothers on both sides of his family involved in church, he was often at church when other children were playing. Being the grandson of Reverend Larsie B. Frazier and adopted grandson of end time Prophet Ruby Foster, Rick grew up in and around the word of God. He was saved on June 10, 1990 and in September of 1993, during an all-night prayer meeting he heard the call of God to preach the gospel. With his burden for souls and his love of oratorical speaking, God led Rick to minister the unadulterated Gospel with all who would hear.
Preaching for Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, non-denominational, Church of God in Christ and Apostolicchurches, God used Rick to show that the power of God is based not in tradition, but in the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Rick planted his first church in McAllen, TX in 2007 where many were saved. He heeded the call to return back to Ohio where he served as assistant pastor for various ministries before accepting the pastorate at Macedonia Baptist Church in 2017where he currently serves. Rick is married to Elissa and they have one daughter named Amaya. His life is best summed up in Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

What We Believe
Our beliefs are the foundation of everything we do as a church. They guide our teaching, ministry, and community life, ensuring that everything we do is rooted in the Word of God.
Our Mission
We are a Christ-centered church, dedicated to winning the lost and making strong disciples of Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to love and glorify God and to share His love throughout the world.
1. The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It serves as the ultimate guide for our faith and life.
2. God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, worthy of all glory, honor, and praise.
3. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day. He ascended into heaven and will return in power and glory.
4. Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through His sacrifice, we are forgiven of our sins and reconciled to God.
5. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in all believers, empowering and equipping them for godly living, spiritual growth, and ministry.
6. The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, serve, and proclaim the Gospel. Together, we grow in faith and unity, fulfilling the mission of Jesus Christ.
7. The Great Commission
We believe we are called to go into all the world, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that Jesus commanded.
8. Eternal Life
We believe in the reality of eternal life in heaven for those who believe in Jesus Christ and eternal separation from God for those who reject Him.
We exist to glorify God, grow in His Word, and live out His love in our daily lives. Through worship, teaching, fellowship, and service, we seek to transform lives and make a lasting impact in our community and beyond.
All we do flows out of these biblical truths, as we strive to live for Christ and make Him known to the world.
